Committee on Academic Standing

The Committee on Academic Standing (AS) reviews student requests for:

waivers under the Tuition Assistance Program (TAP),
appeals of academic dismissals and participation in the Second Chance Program, and
any other matters referred by the President or by the Vice President for Academic Affairs.
  The CAS is a standing committee, appointed by the President and composed of a representative of Student Affairs, a senior administrator, a faculty representative and a representative of the financial office. A student who wishes to make an appeal to the committee must follow the steps outlined below:
Submit a written appeal.
Provide supporting documentation.
Submit the completed appeal form to the Office of Student Affairs.
